The Township of Moonbeam owes its origins to the forest industry. Today, the community is a growing tourism destination thanks in part to its iconic roadside flying saucer and UFO-themed visitor's centre. Situated on Highway 11 near the Town of Kapuskasing, Moonbeam offers an enviable combination of rural life and iconic northern forests, lakes and rivers. Visitors can enjoy Moonbeam’s 34 kilometres of trails, visit nearby Remi Lake, and get active with golf, fishing, snowmobiling, and skiing.
