High Season

Temagami holds exceptional paddling and fishing opportunities across a vast network of waterways, where visitors can rent a cabin and enjoy all the wilderness has to offer.  Hiking trails, like those in White Bear Forest, offer beautiful routes through diverse landscapes and ancient pine stands. ATVing, local markets, and houseboating are all popular draws during the summer.

Winter brings snowy fun to Temagami. The lakes, landscape and serene, snow-covered forests make this the perfect place for snowmobiling, ice fishing, skiing and snowshoeing. For Paddlers

Temagami is made for paddlers. Head to Finlayson Point Provincial Park or Lady Evelyn-Smoothwater Provincial Park, which offer access to Lake Temagami. 

History Enthusiasts

Take a trip up the Temagami Fire Tower on Caribou Mountain, a renovated 100 ft (30 m)-tall fire lookout tower that visitors can climb free of charge. Used in the 1970s to spot fires, the tower offers an incredible panoramic view of the wilderness below.

For ATVers

The region's roots in the forestry industry have resulted in thousands of kilometres of pathways over varied terrain that make for excellent ATV riding. Several outfitters in the Temagami area, such as Marten River Lodge, offer ATV trail access, rentals and guided tours. 

For Anglers
