Dive Into Summer

Summer in The Seven means making a splash. Crystal-clear lakes, warm sun, and cool water on a hot day—what more could you ask for? From sandy beaches to wild limestone shorelines to that quintessentially Northern Ontario cabin dock, we’ve got so many places to jump in.

Camp Under the Northern Sky

There’s something about sleeping under a sky full of stars that just feels right. In The Seven, you’ve got your pick of provincial parks and private campgrounds, each offering a different vibe. Find a spot to pitch your tent or park your RV—maybe right on the lake, or surrounded by trees in the woods. Spend your days fishing, hiking, or just relaxing by the fire. With nature all around, it’s the perfect way to unplug and recharge (but you can also plug in, if that's your jam).

Celebrate Summer with a Festival

Vibe to the beats at Afrofest, soak up the art at Up Here, cheer on a Pride parade, or dance your heart out for the Intertribal at a pow wow. There’s no shortage of good times! Bearfest brings that small-town charm, Kap Kraze is packed with high-energy tailgate derby fun, and River & Sky blends music, art, and outdoor adventure. Every festival is a chance to experience the culture and spirit of one of our communities.

Hit the Road

When the open road is calling, The Seven answers—with some of the most scenic rides and road trips you’ll find anywhere. Cruise the Manitoulin Island Circle Tour through charming towns and along pristine coastlines. If you're looking for something epic, tackle the Georgian Bay Coastal Route, 1,400 km of jaw-dropping shorelines and rugged landscapes. For a shorter route, the Lake Nipissing Circle Tour features twisties, live music, and great eats.
